NetStartz WebServices, Inc.
To the Clientelle;
Who I Am and What Are You To Do?
This is one of the remaining staff of NetStartz, Timothy Corvin. There has been many mishaps that are uncontrollable. The owner, Steven, has disappeared and with doing so has left us at a stand still. He did not give everyone access to all company assets and therefore the main company domain, netstartz.com has expired and I cannot renew this. Clients that have paid using a credit card, please contact your card provider and cancel further billing from NetStartz. For the clients that have paid using PayPal, please cancel your subscription.
Can You Explain Thoroughly?
Yes. NetStartz as a company has failed once again. Steven, the owner went in over his head. I never logged into the merchant account to check the status but, when I logged in today it errored and was labeled as ‘inactive’. This means that AuthorizeNET has shut it down. I am unaware of when this initially happened. I never had access to PayPal so I can not comment on that. As for both types of payment methods, PayPal and Credit Card, I am unable to refund anyone. To aware you of the team of NetStartz; Steven, Owner, has been gone for about 2 weeks without any sign from any of his partners. Matthew Gunnin, Director, has been present via AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) but, fails to reply to any messages sent to him. Larron Armstead, Director, has parted also. Steve Richter, he is around and associates with myself and has been left out in the open much like myself. Ken, Staff, is never online and if he is he never communicates. Ryan, Staff, has quit. Timothy Corvin (me), Director, is here alone trying to do the right things for the clients.
What About My Service?
As for clients that currently use NetStartz nameservers (ns1/ns2.netstartz.com), if you wish to have your site resolve then you will need to change them to: ns1/ns2.netstartz.biz. I created these since the main domain has expired. As for refunding your service payment(s), this cannot be done. I would be more than happy to do so but, Steven is the only one that I know of that has access to merchant contact information and PayPal information. Matt may have access also but, he neglects to answer anyone.
So What Am I Supposed To Do?
For those of you that have domains purchased from us and wish to transfer and need unlocking done you will need to contact me from the link at the bottom. For those of you that are hosting clients, you have a few choices here.
1. You can stay until service is suspended/terminated.
2. You can contact me and I will provide you service on my server. This is in no way dealing with NetStartz. This was started earlier last year before anything with NetStartz went on and no one from NetStartz has anything to do with this.
3. You can contact me and ask for possible hosting provider suggestions.
4. You can browse amongst yourself to find another hosting provider.
*Official Notice*
All clients will be give 1 calendar month to do one of the above. The calendar month begins on the date I have published this update, September 12th, 2004. On October 12th, 2004 I will start terminating all of those whom neglected to take wishful advice.

NetStartz Management
If you were on the Netstartz’s wave back in January of this year then you will remember how Steven screwed us all back then:

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=259556
For over 5 months my site hosted through Netstartz was down and when an agreement was finally reached between the two of us (I had pre-paid an entire year which I must point out still has not ended) I was to receive free hosting for an entire year, plus a refund of my original purchase (which he did live up to).
So now, 3:54AM, I receive this email saying that once again Steven Clarke has ditched the company- err “disappeared,” not given access to anyone on his staff, and of course will probably never return. I am now making a backup of the information that I had there and frantically transferring information over to my site here so I can then change any links that I have places linking to the shitty Netstartz’s hosting.
It’s times like these, and another stressful experience recently that I won’t go into, that make me wish I had a connection with a lawyer that would sue the shit out of these people, a connection with some big burly men that would gladly rip the scrotums off of these “scammers,” and make me wonder if anything or anyone on the internet is ever honest and trustworthy.
Thank goodness I found BGF Web. They have been the best web hosting company I’ve ever dealt with. http://www.bgfweb.com/main/ Good people :)
GRRR!
