Apple - Trailers - A Scanner Darkly - Trailer
”A Scanner Darkly” is set in suburban Orange County, California in a future where America has lost the war on drugs. When one reluctant undercover cop is ordered to start spying on his friends, he is launched on a paranoid journey into the absurd, where identities and loyalties are impossible to decode.
The trailer can be seen at the link above. I don’t know how they did the film effect, but it looks very intriguing!

10 Semi-Obscure Mac Programs You Shouldn’t Be Without
I keep seeing lists of 10 must have Mac programs, but the lists is they are well known can’t-live-without programs like Launchbar and Windowshade already installed on Machead machines. Here are some slightly more obscure programs I use every day:

Whew. It’s been several hours since General Hospital ended on ABC and my pulse is still racing!
Those of us that read spoilers have been looking forward to this day for over 3 weeks. It was worth it. It was perfect. It was the most sensuous, tender, slow, and loving experience that I have seen in years between a couple making love on television- especially on General Hospital.

Ricky Gervais and his team were today awarded the Guinness World Record for the most downloaded podcast, gaining an average of 261,670 downloads per episode of ‘The Ricky Gervais Show’ during its first month.
Tomorrow will be the last Ricky Gervais Podcast. This will be number 12 in the series of 12, but hopefully there will be more soon. The Ricky Gervais Podcast is by far my favorite podcast and the only one I listen to religiously. There is nothing better than waking up on a Monday morning, firing up iTunes, and having the podcast ready for my enjoyment.
If you’ve never heard the podcast, I strongly suggest you download an episode and see what it’s like. It features three English gentlemen- Ricky Gervais, Steven Merchant, and Karl Pilkington, and the threesome discuss every topic under the sun. I have grown to love their “monkey news” segment, as well as the excerpts from Karl’s journal.
You can find out more about the podcast on Ricky’s website or head to Guardian Unlimited’s website to download archived episodes. Click here to add the podcast to iTunes.
