Using AOL IM (AIM) on the iPhone
Jul 5, 2007Anyone try out AIM Express on the iPhone yet? I’ve managed to send and receive several messages from a friend so far, though it is far from glamorous.
Edited to add…
So far, I’m having the most success with ILoveIM.com. I have been testing their AOL IM section and can send and receive messages with little delay (once the initial contact has been made). My computer-based “buddy” is receiving the message in real time, as soon as I press send in iPhone’s Safari, and I receive their messages on my iPhone roughly 2-15 seconds after they send. Not bad!
