Well I figured the prices would drop, but I didn’t think it would be this quickly! I wonder if there will be any sort of rebate for those of us that bought early and helped their numbers… And now the 8GB is only $399?! Argh!
Thanks for the lesson, Steve Jobs: never be one of the first to buy.
That said, I still love my 4GB iPhone :)

I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite sites to visit when I want to catch a television show I’ve missed or just want to watch it again and didn’t have a chance to record on my DVR. Only included on the list are sites that are free and require no registration or special downloads!
- tv-links.co.uk - Lots of current TV Shows, Cartoon, Movies, Documentaries, Anime, Music Videos. Most shows include links to all current episodes of the series
- Side Reel - Fantastic resource and interface, tons of newer TV Shows, organized nicely, movies too!
- Your TV Links - Many older TV Shows, few of the newer ones
- Peekvid - Current and older TV Shows, Movies, many shows only have a links to a few epsiodes rather than the entire season. Nice interface, lacking content compared to some of the others
- alluc.org - Great resource with TV Shows, Movies, etc.
- video.glath.com - Mostly cartoons, few TV Shows. Highlights include Family Guy and The Sopranos
- EpisodeNetwork.com - Movies, movies, and more movies!
- ShowStash.com - 51 shows, mostly older
- Channel King - Streaming television, plenty of channels to choose from like Nickelodeon and ESPN
- Select Video - Search engine, makes finding specific episodes very easy to find
- Stafex.net - Streaming TV channels from all around the world, lots of great Sports channels too, very simple interface

Anyone try out AIM Express on the iPhone yet? I’ve managed to send and receive several messages from a friend so far, though it is far from glamorous.
Edited to add…
So far, I’m having the most success with ILoveIM.com. I have been testing their AOL IM section and can send and receive messages with little delay (once the initial contact has been made). My computer-based “buddy” is receiving the message in real time, as soon as I press send in iPhone’s Safari, and I receive their messages on my iPhone roughly 2-15 seconds after they send. Not bad!

VMware Fusion Beta Program
Break down the walls between Windows and your Mac
Say goodbye to the Windows desktop - seamlessly run Windows XP applications just like Mac applications; use Exposé to switch between any application, minimize to the Dock, bring forward only the application you care about, and use familiar Mac keyboard shortcuts. Use the VMware Fusion Launch Palette to easily access all your Windows applications, and keep your favorite Windows applications in the Dock.
Turn back time on your PC
VMware Fusion’s innovative Snapshot feature enables you to capture and save the exact state of your virtual machine. If your Windows virtual machine becomes unresponsive, use the Snapshot feature to rollback to that known stable state with the click of a button.
